1997 With Judy Kiernan (former BCSNA president) at the helm of NJSSNA, they embarked on getting "A Certified School Nurse in each School "Bill passed.

This began a two year battle Barbara Milloy (BCSNA) took on the position of co-legislation chairperson of NJSSNA.

1998 Mildred Coyle (BCSNA first president dies).

1998 A year of "first" A new logo was designed with the help of MIddleton Designs of Marlton.  It replaced children marching across a ruler towards a scale and school nurse.

The new logo represents Burlington County School Nurses as "the heart of the school supporting all children that attend school".
